Skyfall kennels is owned by Yan Zavelion. Yan started young in the dog world. By the age of twenty he had bred top Rottweilers in the former USSR.  When he emigrated to Canada in 1991 he became interested in the Welsh Terrier breed. He owned the #2 Welsh Terrier for 2001 — Can/Am Ch. Purston Nicole of BC “Nika”, and bred Can. Ch. Odesvan Blue Cantrell “Wendy”.  Skyfall Kennel has been showing wheatens for over six years and has a well established breeding program:

Ch. Hion Skyfall Some Like It Hot (Kira), is the kennels foundation bitch. Kira achieved her Canadian Championship quickly at the age of 13 months at the Fraser Valley’s Dog Fancier show 2014.  Kira is proving to be very confident, bold and sassy.  Some of Kira’s siblings are proving themselves in the arenas of conformation, scent work and agility. Kira was bred and is co-owned by Judy Hodgkins of Hion Kennels.

Mackanme Skyfall Someone Like You “ Aida” became a champion at the Mt. Cheam shows in February 2017. She took Group 1 and Group 3 placements.

Volta did well at the Mt. Cheam shows over the September 24 to September 26, 2021 weekend in Chilliwack, BC. Volta took Best of Winners for two days! See her show photo on her page! Volta also took winners female at Fraser Valley Dog Fancier show and currently only needs 3 points for her CKC Championship.

Skyfall looks forward to many years showing as an owner/handler and breeding Soft-coated Wheaten Terriers to the highest standards. Member of the CKC and All Terriers Club of BC. Skyfall also shows in the U.S. and some of our dogs hold American titles in conjunction with their Canadian titles.
